Fox's John Gibson Mocks Heath Ledger's Death

quote[ John Gibson of Fox News mocked the death of actor Heath Ledger by opening his Wednesday radio show with depressing funeral music. If that wasn't tasteless enough, his commentary put it well over the top. Gibson called Ledger a "weirdo" who had a "serious drug problem."

Gibson also played a clip from "Brokeback Mountain", in which Ledger starred, where he says "I wish I knew how to quit you." Gibson retorted, "Well, he found out how to quit you."

Gibson played a second clip from "Brokeback Mountain" in which Ledger said "We're dead," and thus repeated the quote himself. Throughout the remainder of the radio program, Gibson continually mocked Ledger, and at one point even suggested that Heath may have been suicidal over the presidential debate:

"Apparently Heath Ledger was suicidal and his friends saw it coming. I think he watched the Clinton-Obama debate last night. I think he was an Edwards guy, cause he saw his Edwards guy was completely irreverent," said Gibson.]

Have these people no shame???
